New Feature: Time Zone Support

We know a lot of you have been asking for time zone support. It was the top-voted item on our uservoice forum.

How does it work?

The time zone setting is per-project meaning only the project owner can change it. Any change only applies to data going forward. We don’t reprocess old data. This means that depending on which time zones you’re changing from and to there may be a gap or a spike in data for up to a day. Finally, if you select a time zone that uses daylight savings time, there will be minor abnormalities on the transition dates.

What’s the default time zone?

All current projects (created on or before 2010-10-26) will continue using UTC until they are changed manually.

New projects will default to the most common time zone used by your other projects or PST if you don’t have any other projects.

How do I change the time zone for my project?

1. Go to your dashboard.
2. Click Options next to project in question.
3. Click the Edit button.
4. Select a new time zone from the drop down list.
5. Click the Save button.
