Today we launched Smart Alerts for mobile that instantly notifies you when there’s an unexpected change in your key metrics. Smart Alerts makes Mixpanel your smart assistant.

In today’s “always on” world, your business can change at any moment. Smart Alerts works with your Mixpanel mobile dashboard, alerting you when something happens that you weren’t expecting.

Mixpanel constantly monitors all your key metrics. Any time we notice an anomaly, we send you a timely push notification to alert you of the change. Now you always have a finger on the pulse of your business to make better and more responsive decisions, fast.

How do Smart Alerts work?

It’s hard to always keep up with your analytics, and it’s difficult to know when a metric is deviating from the norm, especially when you factor in seasonal changes, time of day, and weekly trends. Instead of wading through reports and metrics every second of every day, let Mixpanel be your smart assistant. With our powerful machine learning algorithms, we understand and incorporate nuances of your key metrics, and will only alert you when it matters to your business.

How do I get started?

It’s simple. Update to the latest version of the Mixpanel mobile app for iOS or Android. If you haven’t already, set up your key metrics. Start by choosing the key metrics you would like to include (we make this easy by populating your most valuable key metrics). Make sure you have Notifications enabled in the settings menu of the Mixpanel app, and you are good to go. You will automatically receive push notifications anytime your metrics move unexpectedly.

As usual, if you have any questions, please contact or your Mixpanel rep to talk to someone smart, quickly.
