Single sign-on (SSO): Find your authentication URL

In order for Mixpanel to initiate the single sign-on process, we need a specific URL from the identity provider so that we know where to send an authentication request. This is called the authentication URL, and you will need to supply it to Mixpanel during the setup process.

Find your authentication URL on:

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)

  1. On the Mixpanel application integration page, click Configure single sign-on > Microsoft Azure AD Single Sign-On.
  2. Click next until Configure Single Sign-On at Mixpanel dialog page.
  3. There, you will find a field labeled Sign-On Service URL. This is your authentication URL.

  1. Under Applications tab in Okta, select the Mixpanel app, and click on the Sign On tab.
  2. Under the SAML 2.0 section, click View Setup Instructions and scroll down to Configuration Data.
  3. You will find your Authentication URL in the third entry labeled Redirect Login URL.

  1. Select Company Apps from the Apps dropdown in OneLogin, and click on the Mixpanel App.
  2. Under the Single Sign-On tab, you will find a field labeled SAML 2.0 Endpoint (HTTP) - this is your authentication URL.
