Amir Movafaghi is the Chief Executive Officer at Mixpanel. Most recently he was Mixpanel’s Chief Operating Officer, and prior served as Chief Financial Officer at Spiceworks Inc., a leading IT network, and marketplace connecting companies to technology solutions across industries. Previously, he held various leadership roles at Twitter Inc., where he helped scale the company from 150 to 4,000+ employees and also helped lead the company through its IPO.
Neil Rahilly is the VP of Product and Design at Mixpanel where he oversees Product Management, Product Design, Customer Support, and Education teams. Prior to this position, Neil was VP Engineering after working as a Software Engineer and leading Infrastructure Engineering. Before Mixpanel, Neil was the co-founder of Atomic Contacts. Neil holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto.
Lauren Volpi is a high-growth marketing leader with 18+ years of experience driving pipeline, building teams, and scaling repeatable integrated marketing programs in enterprise technology companies. She has built a successful track record in VP positions with some of the technology industry’s most influential companies, including Sigma Computing, Pivotal, VMware and Equinix in the US and Europe. She brings a metrics-driven approach and persona-based messaging to educate, influence and evangelize customers through the entire buyer journey, generating top of the funnel pipeline and building customer loyalty. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys trail running, coaching her kids’ little league teams, and volunteering at Girls on the Run.
Jake Mars is the Senior Vice President of Sales at Mixpanel and is responsible for leading the global go-to-market (GTM) organization, which includes worldwide sales, partnerships, sales operations and sales engineering. Prior to Mixpanel, Jake was the SVP of Americas Sales at Alteryx where he helped build and scale the company from $100M to $500M. Before joining Alteryx, Jake spent 8 years at SAP in various roles including VP of Sales and VP of Platform Solutions. He also held sales roles at IBM and Cognos. Jake holds a BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a MBA from Pepperdine University.
Chinmay Barve is the Vice President of Engineering at Mixpanel. Prior to joining Mixpanel, he worked on Tweets and DM Infrastructure at Twitter; Web Crawlers at Yahoo; and Game Servers at Electronic Arts in various capacities (Software Engineer, Tech Lead, Manager). Chinmay holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech where he specialized in Systems Engineering and Intelligent Systems.
Amy Hsuan is the Vice President of People and Strategy at Mixpanel where she leads the Human Resources, Recruiting, and Business Operations teams. Prior to this role, Amy spent seven years leading teams focused on innovation strategy at The Boston Consulting Group helping companies to create and execute growth strategies. Amy holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a master’s from Wharton Business School.
James Allee is the Vice President of Legal at Mixpanel, where he leads the company’s legal, information security, IT and workplace operations teams. He has represented public and private technology companies, entrepreneurs, and venture capital investors in a broad range of legal, operational, governance, and strategic matters. He brings experience from Cooley LLP, AppDynamics, Inc., and Blue Coat Systems, Inc. James holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, and degrees in economics and history from the University of California at Berkeley.
Phil Perry is the Vice President of Finance at Mixpanel and is responsible for creating a secure financial foundation for Mixpanel while accelerating growth and identifying areas for further efficiencies.
He has taken on a variety of different roles within the company since joining in 2013, including Head of Revenue Operations & Chief of Staff to the CEO, Business Operations & Analytics, and Sales Operations.
Prior to joining Mixpanel, Phil was a Consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners. He holds an MBA, Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago.
