About Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 175 fully-featured services from data centers globally. Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Mixpanel

Import data from Redshift directly into Mixpanel without writing any code. Data can be synced on an hourly cadence. This native import is available for all customers.

To export Mixpanel data directly into an S3 bucket, you can use Mixpanel’s Data Pipelines add-on. After your data is cataloged in Glue, you can use SQL with multiple AWS products, including Amazon Athena and Redshift Spectrum, to query the data.

Use cases

  • Get answers from trusted, holistic data

Importing data from Redshift enables you to bring in any trusted data from your warehouse into Mixpanel for analysis. This includes product, marketing, revenue, support, and customer data.

  • Use SQL to query your data

By exporting into a S3 bucket, you can use SQL to query your Mixpanel data, either for expressing new types of queries or for joining against other data already present in your data environment.
