Mixpanel Data Residency Program: US, EU & India
Data residency has become increasingly complex as countries around the world have adopted laws and regulations governing where information can be transferred, processed, and stored. To meet these challenges, Mixpanel provides its customers with several data residency options as part of our Data Residency Program. These options include storage on Mixpanel’s servers in the United States (by default), in the European Union, or in India. Respecting the privacy rights of individuals around the world is extremely important to us here at Mixpanel, and we’re striving to help our customers meet the challenges they face in this complex and changing regulatory landscape.
US-based analytics
Data residency not an issue for you? Use our regular settings. By default, Mixpanel stores customer data in the United States on the Google Cloud Platform. See our docs for more details.
European-based analytics
Our Data Residency Program helps customers manage cross-border data transfers by collecting, processing, and storing personal data in Europe. Customers can also opt-in to have support provided outside the United States, if they need to do so. Should you need to transfer data to the United States, Mixpanel also provides coverage for international data transfers through the EU-US Data Protection Framework. India-based analytics
Mixpanel also supports data storage in India through our Data Residency Program. Data residency in India works similarly to how our European program operates, with your personal information being stored and processed in India. See our India Data Center docs for additional details.
